Along with my wife, Angie, we are planting Grace Hills Church in Bentonville, Arkansas, which has grown from a couple of families in July of 2011 to an average attendance of around 400 while sending people to plant locally and abroad. We were sent out by Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, where I served as a Pastor while re-developing the online, global community of Pastors.com.
I’m originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky where Angie and I met at Warren Central High School in 1995. Together, we attended Central Baptist College and were married in 1997. We re-located back to Bowling Green where I served as a Pastor for eight years and we both attended Western Kentucky University.
I’ve written a book entitled Rewired, published by Passio (Charisma House), and it’s all about how to use social media to spread the good news of Jesus further – a passion of mine. I’ve been blogging since 2004 and formerly served as Editor of Fuel Your Blogging. My writing has been featured in various publications including Leadership Journal, Ministry Today, Outreach, and The Church Executive. And I’m currently working on my next book as well.
And in addition to all of that, I sometimes take on clients in the form of churches and organizations needing help in the area of branding, web design, social media and marketing strategy, etc.
