My first job at a local church came when I was a freshman at Florida State University. And I’ve been blessed to serve the church for the last 25 years.
In 2005, we moved to Atlanta to start a brand new church focused on reaching people far from God. Oak Leaf Church launched in a movie theater and quickly grew to more than 700 people. We eventually relocated to a renovated warehouse.
In 2012, I joined the early team of The Rocket Company, helping create ministry resources and online courses for church leaders. During my time there, the company made the Inc 5000 list as one of the fastest growing companies in America.
In 2014, I stepped out of leadership there and started Church Fuel, an organization committed to providing insanely practical resources to pastors and church leaders. We get to serve hundreds of pastors through our Church Fuel One membership program.
My latest book, Streamline, is one of the most practical books on church systems and it’s quickly become a go-to resource for any church looking to be more organized and more effective.
I’m married to Jennie and we have three great kids, a black lab and 17 chickens running around the backyard.
